Kate Bush began songwriting at the age of 11 and by 19 was topping the charts with her debut album “The Kick Inside.” She the first to develop a method of performing live with a wireless headset cobbled together with wire hangers, paving the way for artists like Madonna. Her influence is broad and still noticeable to this day, including but not limited to Bjork, Tori Amos, St. Vincent, Big Boi, Stevie Nicks and Johnny Rotten.
