Do you know Bitter Jester?  Well, if not, you should.

The Bitter Jester Music Festival (BJMF) is the Midwest’s largest professional music competition for emerging musicians (bands and solo artists alike). BJMF supports and promotes young and up-and-coming talent from across the Midwest and receives applicants from across the country. 

This night of competition and will feature 20 minute sets from at least 10 artists who just might be the headliners of tomorrow.  Come out to Port Clinton Square in Highland Park and support these talented musicians.  You will be glad you did.

Val’s halla Records will have a pop-up record store with tons of amazing titles and we will also be selling copies of the first album ever released by Val’s halla directly – The Bitter Jester Music Festival Vol 1.  This amazing double album was recorded live at Billy Corgan’s “Madame ZuZu’s” in Highland Park and features amazing music from the finalists of the 2022 Bitter Jester Music Festival along with some very special guest performances.
