We are always looking to acquire unwanted vinyl LPs, CDs, DVDs, cassettes and more.

Rare and used music are the lifeblood of Val’s halla and we are eager to hear from music collectors who are looking to unload and streamline their collections.

Donations

We are fortunate to be located in a philanthropic community that values the historic significance of Val’s halla. Donated music is always appreciated and goes a long way to sustaining the store and allowing us to stay focused on our community mission. You can drop off donations during regular store hours, or contact us to arrange a house call if you have a large collection.

Sell to Us

Of course, we also place a high value on great music and are happy to invest in our used inventory through purchases of used collections. Whether you have a single LP or an entire storage space full of music, we are happy to look at what you have and discuss a fair price.

It’s always best to call ahead, but we can almost always accomodate you same day if you just swing by the store. If your collection is large enough to possibly warrant a house call, we can discuss that as well.

The price we can pay for any title depends on a number of factors including title, condition, specific pressing, current state of Val’s halla inventory, etc, so we cannot give a valuation until we see the goods in person. 

Trade

We pay cash for USED items, but we can usually pay you a little more in store credit if you are goint to invest those funds back into more music!
