Em Spel, Dandelioness, and Desert Liminal LIVE @ Val’s halla Records

SUNDAY, JUL 19 @ 6PM

Some shows are about filling a room. This one is about creating one.

Join us for an evening of artists who blur the lines between indie, experimental, folk, ambient, and dream pop. Three distinct voices. Three immersive performances. One intimate night where every set invites you somewhere different.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased HERE.

Em Spel
Chicago-based indie/dream-pop songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Emma Speltz (Ethereal western-got creates music that flows effortlessly between jazzy song structures, classical flute, found sounds, subtle electronics, and deeply personal songwriting. Spill Magazine praised her ability to blend these influences into music that is both adventurous and “listenable and engaging.”

Dandelioness
Described as ethereal western-gothic folkpop, Dandelioness is known for her radioactive falsetto, visceral performances, and the strange, hypnotic spell she casts over every room. Equal parts bohemian goth, cosmic diarist, and mischievous shadow-work guide, she transforms intimate spaces into otherworldly experiences that linger long after the final note.

Desert Liminal
Chicago-based experimental band Desert Liminal centers dreamlike poetry and looping vocal melodies within a cloud of analog synth textures. Their songs transform bleak memories into beautiful, distant landscapes, creating immersive soundscapes that are haunting, cinematic, and deeply moving.
