BOWIE AND HIS GUESTS – ZIGGY’S LAST FLOOR SHOW: THE LEGENDARY BROADCAST. LIMITED EDITION ON CLEAR VINYL. The 1980 Floor Show was Bowie’s finale in the guise of Ziggy Stardust. This legendary broadcast from 1973 was a cabaret styled performance by Bowie plus special guests. It was a promotional tool to push the Pin Ups album in America. The 1980 Floor Show marked Bowie’s first performance since his famous Hammersmith Odeon announcement that he was “retiring”. However, former Spiders From Mars stalwarts Mick Ronson and Trevor Bolder guested on the show. Also featured was Marianne Faithfull performing I Got You Babe as a duet with Bowie.
