This amazing two LP set was recorded for the BBC in various sessions in 1967 and 1968. Although Syd Barrett’s photo is on the front, he does not appear on all the tracks – but does appear on about half – all the way up to Jugband Blues – the legendary unreleased Syd tune. The unreleased Syd tune Vegetable Man is also included! The material without Syd is also pretty spectacular! Between 1967 and 1969, Pink Floyd recorded five sessions for the BBC. For anyone seriously interested in Pink Floyd and “imports” in general these are a must have for your collection.
