Vinyl LP repressing of this absolute jazz classic. A Blue Note essential, this album is part of the Blue Note 75 anniversary vinyl reissue campaign featuring 100 titles. Conquistador! Is an album by pianist Cecil Taylor released in 1966. Featuring two side-long tracks – ‘With (Exit)’ and the title track – Taylor is joined on this album by Bill Dixon (trumpet), Jimmy Lyons (alto sax), Henry Grimes and Alan Silva (bass) and Andrew Cyrille (drums). The album was one of three albums released in ’66, the other two being Unit Structures and Student Studies (which was also released under the title The Great Paris Concert).
