Various – The Best Of Godzilla 1954-1975 (LP-New)

2 LP set of music and sound-effects from the Godzilla movies of the Showa era. The majority of the album consists of the early film scores by Akira Ifukube and others. Ifukube is responsible for most of the instantly recognizable music throughout the series. Even on films where he is not listed as the composer, quite a few of his themes are sprinkled into the soundtracks. The final track is by The Neil Norman and His Cosmic Orchestra.
