SHAMS BAND RELEASE EVENT

FRIDAY, NOV 6 at 7PM

Val’s halla is thrilled to be hosting the album release party from Oak Park’s own, The Shams Band!

The Shams Band is Donnie Biggins, Paul Gulyas, Douglas Hill, Brian Patterson & Ben White. Now entering their 17th year together, the Oak Park natives celebrate the vinyl release of their third studio album, Better Place. Drawing heavily from their Kinks, Rolling Stones, and Wilco influences, songwriters Biggins and Gulyas create whiskey-driven blues, complete with four-part harmonies. It’s a party. It’s rock ‘n roll with a banjo.
